Denver Sex Assault Suspect Gets Arrested Again
DENVER (AP) ―
A man charged last week with numerous counts of sexual assault on a child has been arrested again, in connection with a new allegation, Denver police said Friday.
Eric Torrez, 46, was arrested Wednesday near 26th Ave. and Dallas for investigation of sexual assault on a child related to an additional victim recently coming forward. Torrez was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Denver County Jail. His bond is set at $2,000,000.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims, who are encouraged to contact the Denver Police Department's Missing and Exploited Persons Unit at 720-913-6067.
Torrez, his wife Linda and son Patrick, 22, are accused of sexually assaulting a brother and sister after they took the children into their home.
The mother of the alleged victims, Karen Stillman, was also charged with sexual assault for reportedly ignoring the abuse.
Prosecutors said the victims, now in their 20s, recently reported the abuse after they moved to Kansas.
