Man Shot In Denver, Police Search For Suspect

Denver police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that left a man wounded Wednesday evening.

Police said they responded to 3333 West 36th Avenue at approximately 6:20 p.m. on a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found a man who had been shot.

The victim was taken to Saint Anthony's Hospital for treatment.

Police describe the suspect as a White or Hispanic man in his early 20s with a medium build. He is approximately 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall with dark, medium-length hair and a dark goatee. He was wearing a black baseball cap backwards, a white t-shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
