Prostitution Ad On 'Craig's List' Nets 2

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) ― Two men were arrested by Lakewood police Tuesday after responding to an advertisment on a Web site to a prostitute that was "almost legal."

Police said Emiliano Delgado Rodriguez, 35, and Noberto Butanda, 27, each responded to an ad on "Craig's List" to have sex with a prostitute they believed to be 17 years old.

The undercover officer who posed as a prostitute received separate calls from the two men and told them to meet her at a hotel. Police said she made it clear she said she was 17 years old during the phone conversion with both men.

The men came at different times and met the undercover agent who, once again, reiterated she was only 17 years old. Both men still negotiated a deal to have sex.

Both were arrested on charges of soliciting for child prostitution at the hotel by detectives from Lakewood police and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Police said Butanda will be also charged with child abuse because he left his 2-year-old daughter in his vehicle when he went to the room.
