Suspect Arrested In Deadly Denver Bar Stabbing

DENVER (CBS4) ― Denver police arrested a 30-year-old man for an alleged deadly stabbing outside a bar on East Colfax Avenue early Thursday morning.

Investigators said the incident started as a fight outside the Goosetown Tavern near Colfax and Adams Street at about 2 a.m.

The victim was stabbed in the stomach and later pronounced dead at Denver Health Medical Center.

Police arrested Michael Cecil at the scene.

Denver police said the victim's name won't be released until an autopsy is completed.
