Swastikas, Knife Found At Boulder Apartment

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) ― Boulder police say someone drew swastikas and left a knife with a letter promoting suicide at an apartment building where some Jewish tenants live.

Investigators say the swastikas were found Sunday, drawn in chalk on the front door. A steak knife and the letter about suicide were found Monday.

Police say two tenants reported spotting a man climbing a fire escape on the building shortly after the knife and letter were found. The man first claimed he lived there but then fled when the residents told him they knew otherwise.

Police are investigating.
