Man's Body Discovered On CSU's Campus

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) ― Police on Saturday were investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found on the campus of Colorado State University.

The report of a body came just after 11 p.m. Friday night. Campus police found the man in the parking lot of Summit Hall. He was not carrying identification and had a gunshot wound in the chest.

The man wasn't believed to be a current student at CSU, but officers said he may have been a student at some point in the past.

CSU campus police and Fort Collins police set up a crime scene in the parking lot on Saturday and they also were searching for clues at an apartment complex next to the campus.

The coronor was set to do an autopsy on the man's body.
