Arrests Made In House Fire Homicide Case

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) ― Two people face murder charges in the death of a 78-year-old man.

Bob Moreland's body was found in his burning home on June 14 in unincorporated Adams County.

The Adams County Sheriffs office arrested Laura Carole Childress, 37, and Chase Andrew McGraw, 18, who are accused of killing Moreland and then setting his home on fire.

Police have not said how Moreland died.

Childress and McGraw are being held at the Adams County Detention Facility without bond. They are due in court on Wednesday.
