Police say a Niwot woman stabbed two men in a sexual encounter gone wrong.

Serena Brooke, 30, faces assault charges after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend and another man. Investigators say Brooke's boyfriend, Ruffin Griffin, 28, brought home another man from a bar on Monday night, then the two started a sexual encounter with Brooke.

Police say that Griffin and Clint Cadigan, 27, started fighting. Then, police say, Brooke grabbed a knife to break up the fight and ended up stabbing both men in the back.

Griffin and Cadigan then drove to the hospital together for treatment. Brooke was charged Tuesday. She also faces a child abuse charge because Griffin's 6-month-old son was in the home.
