Man Gets 10 Years For Stealing From Libraries

DENVER (AP) ― A man accused of checking out hundreds of library books from around the Denver area and then trying to sell them has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars for theft.

Thomas Pilaar, 34, also was ordered today to pay $53,549 in restitution.

A CBS4 investigation last year broke the story of how Pilaar stole books, CD's, tapes and DVDs from Colorado libraries, and then tried to sell them on the Internet.
