A student has reportedly been shot and wounded on school bus in West Philadelphia.

The shooting reportedly happened at about 8:10 a.m. at 57th and Pine Streets.

The victim was taken by ambulance to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in unknown condition.

Officers are searching for a 16-year-old male shooter who fled the bus.

Further details were not immediately available.
