RTD To Hold Public Meetings Over Rates Hike

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Regional Transportation District wants to know what commuters think about proposed fare hikes.

RTD will host several public hearings.

On Jan. 1 fares would increase by about 14 percent. Riders would pay an extra 25 cents for local cash fares, an extra 50 cents for express and regional fares, and an extra $1 for the Sky Ride to Denver International Airport.
