Broncos Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall has not exactly had the best of offseasons. On Tuesday Marshall underwent hip surgery and isn't expected back on the field until training camp in July.
The surgery was performed in Vail Tuesday morning.
Marshall will be able to begin rehab in six weeks. But he'll be out of football drills for three months. That means Marshall will miss all of the offseason workouts and mini-camps. If that timetable holds true, he should be ready to go when the Broncos convene for training camp in late July.
His return to football could be short-lived however. Marshall is facing disciplinary action from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for an incident with his fiancee in Atlanta in March. Marshall could begin the season suspended for as many as 8 games.
