Denver Broncos Cheerleaders To Race For Kids

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) ― The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders are trading in their pom-poms and hitting the race track for the inaugual "Race to Keep Kids on Track."

The event is part of the cheerleaders' efforts to support local at-risk youth.

Local celebrities, Miles the Mascot and Broncos Alumni will also be at The Track at Centennial.

All racers and race attendees will get a complimentary 2010 Broncos Cheerleaders Calendar, autographs, food and beverages. Racers also will have a chance to win great prizes. 
   
The race and calendar release party kick off at 5 p.m. on Aug. 15.

All proceeds will benefit the Denver Broncos Youth Center at the Denver Rescue Mission and Project PAVE (Promoting Alternatives to Violence through Education).
