Darrell Jackson Signs 1-Year Deal With Broncos

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Denver Broncos signed wide receiver Darrell Jackson to a one-year free agent contract Wednesday after taking a physical, the Rocky Mountain News reported.

Jackson becomes the third wideout on the open market to join the Broncos, after Keary Colbert and Samie Parker.

Jackson was a consistent threat for the Seattle Seahawks for seven seasons that included three 1,000-yard performances. He then spent a year in San Francisco, but fair well in an offensive system in turmoil.

Jackson's addition likely will keep the Broncos from taking a receiver high in the April 26-27 draft, the Rocky reported.
