Jeri and Larry Priest use a contraption made with six car horns welded onto a dolly and connected to a car battery. For the last 12 years, when the Broncos score, the couple has honked the horn for each point.

Noisy celebrations are a thing of the past for a hard-core Denver Broncos fan in Adams County.
The tradition at the home of Jeri Priest dating back nearly 30 years has been silenced by an angry neighbor.
Whenever the Denver football team would score, Priest would sound a blast for each point on the board.
"You know, all the fun is out of it now," Priest said.
A small bell started the tradition decades ago. Then it got louder with a bigger bell. Then Priest graduated to six car horns welded together by her husband, Larry, and powered by a large battery.
"(It was) loud, and I know it was loud, but you know what?" Jeri asked. "When you get old, you get deaf, so I didn't realize they were that loud."
The ear-splitting celebrations were too much for one of Priest's neighbors. He kept calling police, saying the noise bothered his pregnant wife, and finally got Priest charged with disorderly conduct.
Priest was amazed to learn she could be in deep trouble. Comforted by her many Broncos souvenirs, she consulted an attorney. The advice was to get rid of the horns.
"I made the decision," Priest said. "I'm too old to go to jail. My granddaughter kept crying, 'Don't take my grandma to jail.' I just made a decision to get rid of the horns."
Priest gave the horns to the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver. They will auction the horns off at a banquet in May, with the money going to charities.
