Broncos Sign Dada, Waive Reid

DENVER (CBS4) ― Denver signed cornerback Wale Dada Tuesday. The Broncos also waived second-year cornerback Lamont Reid, coach Mike Shanahan said.

Dada is a first-year player who joins the Broncos after he was waived by New Orleans on Saturday.

He entered the league in 2006 with the New York Jets as a college free agent from Washington State University.

He's been with the Jets, Seahawks and Saints.

Dada has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game, but spent the final month of the 2007 season on the Seahawks' practice squad.

He will wear No. 31 for the Broncos.
