The Denver Broncos trimmed their roster Saturday during the final major round of roster cuts by punter Sam Paulescu who was in tight competition with fellow punter Brett Kern along with 16 other players.
Running back Cecil Sapp, a former Colorado State University star and running back Anthony Aldredge were both placed on the injured/reserve list. The teams also placed Brett Pierce on the injured/reserve list.Other cuts are as follows:

Mitch Erickson - G
Dylan Gandy - G

Sunday the Broncos will be allowed to set up a practice squad of up to eight players.
In a previous version of this story it was reported that Cecil Sapp was released by the team.
