Howard Nathan

When reporter Howard Nathan made plans to follow his wife to Colorado for her new job, CBS4 welcomed him on board.

As an award-winning reporter, Howard joined the CBS4 News team from WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio, where he was a broadcast journalist for 16 years, earning four Emmy Awards, an Associated Press Award for Ohio's best reporter and was honored by State of Ohio House of Representatives with a community service award based on a continuing series of reports on a health insurance issue involving coverage for a little girl with a severe food allergy.

"I'm very excited to join the CBS4 news team," Howard said. "CBS4 is a great place to work and my wife and I have family in Colorado so now our kids have instant cousins. We're thrilled!"

Howard was born in New York City and began his broadcast journalism career in radio in New Jersey and Connecticut before making the switch to television in 1986. His first job on TV was at WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Ind., where he worked for four years before moving to WDNT-TV in Dayton, Ohio where he served as a reporter until joining CBS4.

He is married and has two daughters, 11-year-old Amelia, and nine-year-old Madeline.
